Hi, friends of Tig-Le, I hope this message finds you well. It has been a while since our last correspondence. How lovely to have a classic winter roll through, bringing much-needed rains and cool temperatures to WA. These winters, now a rarity, are like the ones I remember growing up. They bring vibrancy to the whole landscape and fun times, beautiful water flows, and cozy times by the fire. When we bring mindfulness to these fondest memories, they touch the present of our daily life as an opportunity to recall and renew the purest, simplest joys in being alive. Whatever weather comes, may life continue to bond, bind, and unfold in rhythmic dances. Below is our program for Fourth Term, with extra days and a time change to our weekly mindfulness sessions. We continue offering opportunities to study meditative practices and the Buddha Dharma on Wednesday evenings, along with retreats at Fair Harvest, Origins Centre and Coorain. Please come and join us at Tig-Le.

Community Event: Stupa installation and consecration day, Saturday the 18th of October 2025. Please join us in supporting the installation of the Kadampa Stupa. This is part of a long tradition, and we are blessed to receive this gift, acknowledgement, and support from our lineage stream. We are currently remaking the pergola and laying the slab for the Stupa. We also need hands-on help with special roles, including bearers to assist with moving the Stupa into place, the consecration and blessing service, and potluck meal preparation in the house. We will greatly appreciate the gift of your presence and the warmth of your hearts, coming together in celebration.

Article: Yvonne and Reto, friends of ours, wrote this beautiful postcard about the recent trip to visit the Karma Kagyu Ani in Rumtek, Sikkim. They have joined this journey many times and deeply cherish their experiences there. Thanks for putting this postcard together. It is a great read! Post Card Sikkim, India, March-April 2025 Books: We released the first print run of our book, ‘Dhamma Wisdom,’ this year, which serves as a resource and guide to the Theravada Dhamma. It has been enjoyed by many. Thank you, everyone, for your heartfelt reviews. One I wanted to share from Craig, the local Uniting Church Minister: “Two things in particular stood out to me – appropriate caution and careful balance. I felt like I was in safe, wise hands as I read along. Many of the concepts were unfolded in such a nourishing way.” It’s lovely that friends have enjoyed reading it and feel the warmth of Refuge in its wisdom. We have a small number of copies available on the shelf at Tig-Le, and postage can be arranged. Tig-Le House is held together by the spirit and generosity of a practice community and a shared aspiration for a wellness of being. Please join us in sitting on the mat again at Tig-Le House and the other beautiful community spaces we visit in the Southwest. Best wishes, with all our warmth and affection Sonam and the Tig-Le family
