We are trialling using the Tig-Le House website for retreat bookings only, and a reservation system through Facebook for workshops. All our regular weekly sessions remain open attendance. Come and join us for sits.

Regular Tuesday mindfulness sessions are back on at Fair Harvest starting with the Introduction to Global mindfulness workshop 28th July 9.15am, yay!!

We are grateful to Ben and Nicole at CrossFit MR for continuing with the Mindful Monday’s program. They offer a whole of health approach including fitness, nutrition, yoga, and mindfulness along with a strong commitment to community building.

We hope you are all well, warm, and enjoying the fresh waters falling from the skies in a rain of blessings.

3rd term calendar commencing 28th July 2020

Workshops:

Tuesday 28th July 9.15am – 11am: Introduction to global mindfulness @ Fair Harvest https://www.facebook.com/events/1150139102012514/

This workshop sets us up for the regular weekly sessions held at Fair Harvest in 3rd term. At Tig-Le, our historical link to mindfulness training is an ancient Universal / Global one, secular and sacred in nature. Enlivened through cross-cultural Buddhist perspectives relevant in the context of modern life. This workshop is structured to build an overview understanding of what mindfulness is, the main principles involved and how to begin applying these putting them into practice.

Wednesday 29th July 7.15pm – 8.45pm: Introduction to traditional mindfulness @ Tig-Le House https://www.facebook.com/events/3143514622350617/

This is the first session of term 3 traditional mindfulness at the Tig-Le studio. This Wednesday evening workshop will be available simultaneously online and for in-person attendance and lays down foundation understandings of traditional mindfulness practice. Please Register your intent to join by sending us an email to tiglehouse@gmail.com and we will forward you the Zoom link.

Thursday 30th July 9.15am – 10.30am: Introduction to sacred dharma and meditation @ Tig-Le House https://www.facebook.com/events/229981444644363/

The dharma teachings are enriched mindfulness, meditative practices and teachings aimed at developing our potential for a deeper more compassionate approach to living. In this workshop we establish preliminary understandings for practicing traditional Buddhist teachings and meditative practices, approaches to study, visualisation, contemplation techniques, and more. This will give you the foundations for attending sacred dharma sessions and Wongkur ceremonies with more confidence.

Tuesday 22nd September 9.15am – 11.30am: Compassionate Engagement: A meditative framework @ Fair Harvest https://www.facebook.com/events/284931762822259/

The aim of a developed mindful capacity is to engage in increasingly compassionate ways with life and living. In this workshop you will get to explore a meditative training on compassion that provides a framework of engagement developing a deeper understanding of what is, and what is not compassion and how to navigate this space mindfully both individually and collectively.
