Weekly mindfulness and meditation

Wednesdays 7.30pm: Dharma talks and mindfulness @ Tig-Le House

Wednesday evenings are for sharing traditional and contemporary dharma teachings that support the development of a cultivated compassion. Each session covers a topic followed by mindfulness, reflection, contemplative practice, and open dialogues. We will begin Wednesday 28th April 7.30pm. All are welcome. Thursdays 9.15am: Weekly Puja @ Tig-Le House

Regular weekly Puja, contemplative meditation and dharma teaching, study, and practice sessions resume Thursday 22nd April 9am. Practice is supplemented with mindfulness interwoven throughout. All are welcome. Cost is Dana, freely offered donation. Weekly Puja | Facebook event info.

Current mindfulness, meditation, and nature retreats

5-day Mindfulness and Nature retreat: 3rd May – 7th May 2021 No day visitors, silent retreat, bookings required. Silent retreat: Explore the foundations of traditional and contemporary mindfulness through an ecological lens, including practices and activities such as mindful walking, contemplative meditative exercises on nature, nature immersion, and simplistic creative activities that help us remember and re-integrate a healthy relationship to daily life and the natural living World. Metta meditation weekend – making friends with life 12th – 14th November 2021 Metta translates as ‘the ever-present possibility for friendship’. Metta meditation is an extension of our mindfulness, the potential for a deeper friendship, for love and kindness, with ourselves, others, the World, and life.
Practice helps us to find meaningful sources of love and understanding within our own lives, to find the freedom to live filled with greater tenderness and goodwill, to resolve feelings and experiences of disconnection and isolation caused by resentment, jealousy, hate, anger, and prejudice.
