Tig-Le House Newsletter 20th April 2021

Hi friends of Tig-Le,

We have had some great feedback from the Ecodharma weekend. Through sharing teachings and practice techniques, open dialogues, and simple grounded ceremony, participants gained insight and understanding into Refuge and cultivated compassion in a new and enriched way many had not experienced before. This is a wonderful outcome. This approach is an extension, building on the mindfulness and nature work we have been doing for many years now, and one that we will continue to unfold. A felt connection with Refuge leads to a deeper understanding of what is meant by compassion in the dharma teachings, which in turn supports people to love and care for the world at ever deepening layers of experience.

Coming up:

This Wednesday morning mindful walking group starts.

This Thursday morning weekly Puja begins.

Next Wednesday evening dharma talks and meditation.

Silent mindfulness and nature retreat.

Expressions of interest – online sessions: In 2020 during the restricted Covid-19 period we went online with some group sessions. We have been receiving requests to make this a regular feature of our classes. If there is enough interest, we can offer online sessions again via Zoom or similar platform.

We need some assistance to go ahead. If anyone is familiar with a suitable platform and is available to run the ‘tech’ during classes operating a device and managing participation, we would love to hear from you.

If you are interested in joining the online sessions, please send us an email and we can add you to the online mailing list. Many thanks!

Practice helps us to find meaningful sources of love and understanding within our own lives, to find the freedom to live filled with greater tenderness and goodwill, to heal feelings and experiences of disconnection and isolation caused by resentment, jealousy, hate, anger, and prejudice.
